First off, your ring is SO stunning and unique I love it! Secondly, I am normally one to say simple band, and let a ring like that do all the talking but I actually think the diamond band under it!

If you are torn between the two options there’s a 3rd. Ask your jeweler to burnish the stones in the band (diam or sapphires) and space them out a little bit.
