What these highlights don’t show are the rainy, soul-searching long runs during my training for the London Marathon, or the moments when I thought I was moving forward, only to realise I was being redirected instead. Some months felt like pure magic, whilst others offered tough lessons. But it’s the years that test and challenge us that build resilience, strengthen belief in ourselves, and remind us that we are capable of so much more than we think.
