Mine started leaking in that spot at about 110k miles. Replaced the hose and thermostat and been good ever since

And if you do any cooling system maintenance that involves removing those hoses you might as well replace them while you’re at it. 9 times out of 10 they leak whenever you reuse them

If it isn’t the rad hose, it’s the t-stat gasket or crossover gaskets.

My thermostat was leaking and it was running down the front cover down the opposite side of the motor to the transmission. Thought I had a trans leak

My 2011 front cover has a hairline crack where it meets the block on the driver side. Gonna pull the motor and swap it for a 2020 long block.
