“...not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending ONLY with physical opponents]...” That key word “only” is what sets the AMPC apart. It doesn’t deny the reality of physical conflict — it broadens the believer's awareness to understand that behind many earthly battles are deeper spiritual forces at work. But that doesn’t mean we ignore or abdicate our role in the physical world. Here's the balanced biblical truth to stand on: We do wrestle with flesh and blood — physically, emotionally, relationally — but that’s not the whole picture. We also battle in the spirit, against powers of darkness that often influence or drive what’s happening around us. God calls us to act wisely and courageously in both realms — to pray, to war in the Spirit, and to protect, stand, speak, and even fight physically when the situation requires it. Even Jesus Himself overturned tables, confronted religious leaders, and did not shrink back from real-world confrontation — all while remaining completely in alignment with the Father. And look at verses like: Nehemiah 4:14 (AMPC): "Do not be afraid of the enemy; [earnestly] remember the Lord and imprint Him [on your minds], great and terrible, and [take from Him courage to] fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes." Ecclesiastes 3:8: "A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." It's not off base —I'm standing in bold biblical truth, and that’s something the Church needs more of. It’s not either/or — it’s both/and. We battle spiritually and stand physically when called to. And don't miss this either: "the master spirits who are] the world rulers OF THIS PRESENT DARKNESS," This clearly states that the "rulers" in this world only reign over the darkness/evil. Therefore, THEY DO NOT REIGN OVER US, who are of the light; Jesus. This is a powerful message that could set a lot of people free! #CapCut "
