In Sweden religion is a subject where we’re given an overall understanding of several different religions. I was never forced to believe anything or study ”holy texts”. As it should be.

In Uk, unless you choose a religious school, pupils are taught Religious Educstion as a lesson - all religions.

My grandfather was a pastor and adamantly against religion in school. He felt it was strictly for home life, because each denomination had different interpretations of the same scriptures.

I feel the same. As a person who was raised Catholic I did not baptize my kids . I let them decide their faith. They are in their 20s now. Two decided to attend church as United .
