Many are blinded by the false teaching of a pre-tribulation rapture, but the Bible itself tells a different story. Revelation shows believers present throughout the tribulation;sealed by God but persecuted by the beast. In Revelation 7:3-4, God seals His servants during the judgments, and in Revelation 9:4 the demonic locusts are told not to harm those sealed by God;meaning His people are still there. Revelation 13:7 says the beast is given power to make war against the saints and conquer them. If the church was gone, who are these saints?
Jesus Himself said plainly: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days… He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect” (Matthew 24:29-31). Paul also agrees, saying the resurrection/rapture happens “at the last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:52). Revelation 14 confirms this: the “harvest of the earth” (rapture of believers) happens after the trumpet judgments but before the bowls of God’s wrath.
Yes, we are not appointed to God’s wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9), but the wrath of God (the bowls) is different from the tribulation of Satan (the beast persecuting the saints). Tribulation is promised: “In this world you will have tribulation” (John 16:33). God does not promise escape from it, but strength to endure it.
The idea of a pre-tribulation rapture is not from Scripture;it teaches escape instead of endurance. The truth is: the church will see the rise of the Antichrist, the mark of the beast, and the great tribulation, but we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). After this, Christ will return at the last trumpet to gather His elect, and then the bowls of wrath will be poured out on the unbelieving world.
Do not be deceived by soft teachings. Prepare your heart, strengthen your faith, and be ready to endure until the end, for “he who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).
