Blessed to have the full tree unlocked cause I do NOT miss that grind. Though I don't use high tree jets unless sweats are spamming futures, then I get the QAAM Raptor out 😎

then do the story from Casual Easy to Ace, you'll learn a few things and you'll know which planes or weapons are good, that's from my Experience. The hardest Mission is Mission 20 at Ace or the final DLC Level at Ace, trust me.

Ace combat is NOT a Multiplayer dominant game 😭, you HAVE to play the campaigne before at least for the planes you unlock (and that's if you're already good with the controls)
