@bradbernsteinlaw: Replying to @Thewhitedude 🚨 Important Immigration Warning 🚨 Brad answers a critical question about living in the U.S. illegally and leaving the country. If you’ve lived in the U.S. illegally for more than a year and leave, you’ll face a 10-year bar from re-entry. And if you try to lie about it—thinking you can sneak in and out without the U.S. government knowing—you’re almost certain to get caught. Lying about unlawful presence leads to lifetime inadmissibility for misrepresentation and fraud. Given the severity of this violation, getting a waiver approved is extremely difficult. If you lie, it’s very likely you’ll be caught, denied, and never allowed to return legally. 👉 Always consult a trusted immigration attorney before making any decisions. #ImmigrationLaw #10YearBar #Misrepresentation #Fraud #WaiverDenial #BradShowLive #SparAndBernstein #LegalHelp
Can I give my sponsor my spouse citizenship even if 10 years ago I went to jail for fake checks but wasn’t convicted?

If having visited on an ESTA and situations change, and married to a US citizen after 90 days, does the adjustment of status have to be “approved” within 1 year of entering the US initially? What if it doesn’t happen within that 1-year timeframe from when you initially entered the US? And is the “after 90 days” as in a consecutive 90 days? Or just the total 90 days of an ESTA, and you can apply for an adjustment of status if you were visiting on a 3rd or 4th shorter trip towards the end of that 90-day timeframe?

If you expect to be outside the US one year or longer, get a re-entry permit before leaving. Validity period typically two years.
