@ramsey.solutions: Did you know a Health Savings Account (HSA) gives you triple tax benefits?   An HSA is a special savings account for medical expenses, paired with a high-deductible health plan. It’s a smart way to save on taxes and set aside money for health costs now and in the future! #hsa #healthsavingsaccount #taxtips #moneytips #moneytok #moneymindset

Even better… you can use it to pay yourself back for your health insurance premiums, which are also pre-tax money.. so there’s a double pre-tax there

Say I leave the employer I’m with and a new employer offers hsa. Are they transferable or rollable?

What if you took the medical expense as a deduction 20 years earlier. Is that draw taxable?

I take pics of receipts now and store on my cloud to use as reimbursement later in life. From cold medicines to band aids.

My insurance has a crazy high deductible but I also have a $60 copay at Dr office. So not eligible for hsa. Make it make sense.

I have an HSA and 1 kiddo I get to claim every other year. Putting money in my HSA reduces taxable income so I don’t owe money on the years I don’t claim him.

why would you reimburse yourself, just use the HSA to pay for medical things as they come. then into retirement use it for all medical expenses.

I participate in my employers healthcare plan and pay roughly 50% of the premiums. Would that be considered a high deductible plan? Would I be eligible for an HSA?
