My 3 y/o has been going out to eat with us since she's born and has no screen at all, we just incorporate her into our conversations like she was an adult there with us. Sometimes she draws or colors.

what happened to those coloring/activity pages they give us as kids. take her to buffets she don't even got to wait. chinese at 6 years old 😩 noodles and shrimp and those cream cheese rangoons ✨

Isn’t this how our parents did it? If a child never had the option of a tablet in a restaurant it doesn’t become an issue.

we always just have colouring book/sticker books in the changing bag. most restaurants offer colouring pages now too.
