I have an ecovacs vacuum. Had it for years. Works and cleans well, the company seems reputable. They perform well in robovac reviews. They use lidar for mapping too, which I prefer over cameras.

I’ve used one of their robot vacuums. It was fine. It wasn’t nearly as smart as others but you could manually control it. But that was a few years ago.

US companies do the same thing but we only find out years later like, Apples Siri. Roomba has the same business practices. Would you promote Roomba? Its just another Vacuum in the end.
