It’s very comfortable on my eyes. Better than a phone. I have a kindle unlimited subscription for $12 a month. I haven’t needed to buy a book yet

See if Libby is available in your area. It’s free online books. It connects you to your local library (you need a library card) and you can connect it to your kindle.

It’s 1000% worth the savings in my opinion! You also have the option to essentially bring your whole library with you when travelling!! 🥰

I personally do not like carrying my books out of my house to read. So I do have ku on my phone and iPad. But girl, if you think you are addicted now, having a kindle or ku will have beyond addicted.

You could try downloading CloudLibrary on your iPad (you just need a library card) and try ebooks before committing to a Kindle! Hoopla is great too!
