surely you just employ big guard breed dogs ie pyrenees and mastiffs to keep predators away. How do farmers in other countries manage?

Lynx definitely could apply pressure to sheep but wouldn’t be an issue to adult cattle. They might even leave adult sheep alone. We have bob cat but also have guardian dogs and see no issues with cats

I had a talk on this topic in April and it’s very rare that Lynx would choose to predate on a sheep and much prefer deer

Livestock guardian dogs would make them a non issue for herd animals. The concern for the lynx’s is a valid one. Many of these things aren’t thought out far enough
