I turned my fridge off at the wall with a bread bin by accident. I called the council told them it was broken. They come several weeks later and just simply tuned it on 😭😭

I once called the RAC out on the M1 because my clutch wasn’t working. He opened my door and moved the footwell mat back. Fixed the problem there & then. So embarrassed.

Electrician had to tell me the reason I had no electric was that I had no money on it. Worse I’d put money on the key, just not pushed it in all the way 🤦♀️

When I moved in, my bathroom light wouldn't turn on. I couldn't unscrew the light bulb, that thing was STUCK. Landlord sent over an electrician, who brought an apprentice. She... immediately unscrewed

I had a smoke detector where the backup batteries were low. I took the whole thing down got new batteries put it back up. still beeping. landlord came. i put the new batteries in the wrong way round.
