Yes! I broke my ankle a few years ago and had roommates tell me to “hire a task rabbit” to shovel/ice the sidewalk… this was only a temporary physical disability. Safe to say we aren’t friends anymore

I fell down the stairs in the subway station not long ago. my friends helped me until the ambulance arrived, toom my stuff back to my dorm for me, and came to bring me food and hang out with me in the hospital. I'm alright now, it was just a really bad sprain I couldn't put weight on, but it would have been so much worse if I couldn't rely on friends for help. we're social creatures, we survive because we care for each other
