For sure new. The gear setup doesn’t make sense. Wayy too many pouches even for small person. Badge is for show and would come off 1.5 seconds into a fight. Baton is setup for the perp to draw more than her. 3 diff intermediate UOF options. Radio mic on gun side. List goes on.

Our Probation Officers aren’t even allowed to open a fridge on a home visit much less make an arrest. Hope it’s different there.

I’m a CO in county and our probation officers go kitted up when they serve warrants with PD for demands and stuff. Otherwise they care the basics.
