Love this idea just beware that grass can and will harbor a LOT of bacteria and because of the water and the lamps mold can grow easily, vinegar gets rid of mold pretty quickly but you should be fine

i had a turf lined basking ramp & my turtle scratched his cornea on it somehow… had to get eye drops & let me tell you, it’s NOT fun to put eye drops on a damn turtle 🤦🏻♀️

Two different turtles in this video, my muskies hardly ever peek out of the water they spend most of their lives underwater much like that soft shell you first showed, cool dock tho!
