Yes, the hairs at the top brushes through! However I will in fact still be shaving that doodle! Slicker brush and comb all the way baby

You can move through the top layers of hair through butter, but the matting to the skin is not going to come out with a detangler spray

Use a slicker brush and then a metal comb (this is KEY) the comb will tell you if there is any mats hidden under the top layers of the hair.

just make sure to get down to the skin with the brush. detangling spray helps! 🥰

🙄 You have to use a slicker brush while holding the hair back as you brush to get all the layers then go through with a metal comb.

Groomer here. That brush isn’t gonna get the under coat…just a brush that’s meant for them.
