Nothing could have prepared me for the raw power and emotion that unfolded during my ceremony with the herd of horses and magical Candice,whom I hold in such high esteem. “ A woman whose heart beats with the rhythm of wild horses - untamed, radiant & a soft soul. PART 1-: It was not quiet or gentle - it was deeply dramatic, almost primal. One of the horses tore the bedding apart with such fierce energy, stomping & pulling and tearing and burying; as if expressing emotions which I could not have displayed in a more profound fashion. At first I was stunned, as I’d never seen a horse ever display such aggression. I then realised that the horses weren’t just present they were responding. They were reading the energy, the buried pain & trauma I’ve carried for so many, many years. What they did wasn’t random. It was a living, breathing reflection of everything I’ve been holding inside and they pulled it out of my chest. I can literally feel an empty space where it sat. It is no longer. In that chaos something shifted. What I couldn’t speak, the horses acted out for me. Gosh they’re such magical creatures- I’ve always been aware of this, my respect has just multiplied through this. It was like watching my own inner storm come to life and finally find its release. And when it was over there was an eerie calm - not just around me, the other horses were also surprised and came closer to smell the bedding. Something had been witnessed and let go. PART 2- This wasn’t just a ceremony it was a reckoning. The best day of my life. I got to spend this with the precious horses,gentle spirited Candice and Matt. And an unexplainable grace followed, whilst Candice was working her wonder, all the while. I am deeply grateful to have been touched by the horses, their wild wisdom, their truth, their courage to show what needed to be seen.
