FYI- you start over at the next facility even if you go by ambulance. Many times we take the pt to triage. Ambulance ride doesn’t change the triage process UNLESS you’re a direct admit and that’s rare

Refusals on my area are about 500 a pop. Legitimately if you call and say no then it’s still 500 no matter if you go or not. If you do go it gets even higher

have yall seen the bills for the flight for life helicopters? my grandpa was hit with a $40k bill to be flown 60 miles. that was in 2012, i’m sure its even more expensive now
