@kami.larae: Replying to @Renata Valcarcel I can’t even imagine what the refrigerator tubes look like👀 ..tbh guys I have been using my homemade ice since I filmed this video.. I walk past the pebble ice maker and cringe now..the slime is freaking me out🤢 I will clean it again in a couple weeks and see how she’s looking. I will keep u updated! For those asking for what I did to clean it here is my 5 hour cleaning process! 1. Empty all ice and water from the machine. 2. Clean out everything that comes in contact with water with soap. I also do a vinegar rinse and let it soak inside the water side tank. 3. Grab a bowl or pitcher and allow tubes of water to empty out any remaining water. Scrub inside of tubes with a long straw brush. Replace tubes. 4. Add 1 tsp of bleach to 4 cups of water and add to reservoir. Run the cleaning cycle. 5. Empty water and bleach mixture. Add fresh water and run at least two cleaning cycles emptying water between cycles. If you are only doing the bleach clean, run an additional two cycles before making ice. But I am going to proceed with a vinegar descale as well. 6. Pour 4 cups of vinegar into the reservoir and run another cleaning cycle. This time empty out the vinegar but now let the machine sit for 3-4 hours! 7. Fill the reservoir with clean filtered water and run another cleaning cycle. Empty and repeat 4 times. 8. Replace all attachments and make ice like usual. If the ice tastes funny.. toss and run another cycle. Whewww I’m tired just writing all that.
