What's helped me is reading Hungarian out loud! Trusty Hungarian books, Hungarian news articles, etc, reading them aloud helps you with "muscle memory" so to speak in Hungarian

make a habit of reading news articles daily. not as big of a commitment as a book, but helps to retain your target language so you dont struggle with understanding/replying on the spot in the future

Welcome to the club! 🤣 We speak 3 language and to not go blank we use all 3 languages in every sentence. That way we knew our brain and speaking skills sharp. Hope it helps!

I had brain surg. and sometimes I forget words bc of it, total fog. But! I watched CNN and US politics bc it was my major in uni - now I - with my CZ relatives in Czechia spill EN words randomly 😅
