I think they marketed it poorly. From the start it should’ve been marketed as an UD universe movie. Or even Until Dawn: The Night Repeats or some other subtitle. That way the expectation is set.

Until Dawn is my favorite video game of all time, and I’m so disappointed in this 😩 where’s the snowy mountains, the wendigos, the side story with Josh, the psychoanalyst? There’s legit no element from Until Dawn in it besides the name.

I dont know how to articulate this properly but they need to understand why fans are mad. it is like using the name Resident evil and ppl are expecting zombies and monsters like the games but it is just about real people who are just straight up evil cause the "RESIDENCE" are a bunch of evil people. they are basically using the same thing with Until Dawn, they have to survive UNTIL DAWN but removing almost the entire plot of the OG Until Dawn.
