@syracuse.com: An 11-year-old girl was handcuffed for at least six minutes Monday afternoon on a Syracuse street by two deputies looking for a girl who stole a car. The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office deputies told the 11-year-old she fit the description of a girl wearing a pink coat and camo-style pants who stole a car earlier that day. The children told the deputies they were playing in the snow and making snow angels after school let out, and that it was impossible for her to steal a car because they went on a field trip that day. As she stood in the snow being questioned, another deputy arrived and accused the 11-year-old of being the girl they were looking for.
