NAXOS DAY 1 (PART 1) – PET FRIENDLY STAYS + HIDDEN GEMS We kicked off the morning with breakfast at Medusa Suites Naxos and for the first time ever, Daisy was allowed to join us. No breakfast in bed, no hiding under the table. Just us, a view, and full pet-friendly vibes. That alone earned serious points. Next up was Plaka Beach. It’s beautiful, calm, and a must-see, but getting down to it isn’t the safest. If you’ve got mobility issues or even just dodgy ankles, wear proper footwear or maybe skip it. Worth it if you’re steady on your feet though. In the afternoon we explored Halki Village and found the best pizza I’ve ever had at a place called Mitos. I’m not even a pizza person but this was to die for. We got the black dough pizza, and you can pause the video to see them making it. They’re so proud of their process. Just make sure you don’t stop at the wrong place…it all looks connected but you need to walk to the very end to find the real Mido’s. We strolled the village, took loads of photos, did a bit of shopping and honestly it’s one of the prettiest spots on the island. This was just half the day.
