we don't talk to ted after 9pm, he gets grumpy and a bit bitey because he's tired and that's bedtime. since we implemented that rule he hasn't done anything since, it was that easy.

With my Littles I've found easiest is to just pick them up & turn away. People tend to pay attention to my "No" if have to reach across & touch me to get to them. & dogs used to me picking them up
