What I hate with trucking industry is that somewhere along the way trucking companies let the customer decide what they are going to pay , just not good business.

im in this industry, why do these people need to ask permission on how high they can go? when i book freight i decide the rate to carrier, not ask permission. what am i missing?

Ny weather right now is horrible. Syracuse isnt the best to get out of. Owner ops might not turn that down but he knows his numbers and what his drivers need to make. If everyone takes cheap loads the rates will just continue to go down
