My mom has seven of us and my two oldest siblings have her last name because my dad and her wasn’t married yet. The rest of us have my dad last name because they got married. I gave my daughter her dad’s last name because we were engaged, but we never got married, I’m gonna change her last name to mines soon. It depends on how people were raised 💯🤷🏾♀️

One has his dad's last name and my other does not. My youngest dad got that privilege because he was present. My oldest sons dad didn't become involved until he was 6 months and by that time the papers were signed and he is not on his birth certificate and I wasn't changing it.
