Honestly, I was in Melbourne last week, and I have never experienced so much prejudice. I have been living in Australia nearly six years, and I have traveled all over the country multiple times. However, during this last trip, I felt that something was different there. As a black woman, it was particularly difficult to confront the prejudice I encountered.

you just need to know the times of the flows of people.... find the off peak times....or figure out if there are multiple trams that will get you there as well and take that second tram that's 1-3 minutes behind the sardine tram

My favourite thing is they are never on time so there will be 3 within 2mins of each other the 1st packed the 2nd ok and the 3rd empty. Get tram tracker and if there are a few close together wait for the last one.
