I was just on Howard's campus when I went to the nearby 9:30 club. It looked terrible! Lots of trash bins and rats. A TON of rat traps. Only one security car for 4 blocks of unopened, poorly lit blocks. I felt bad for the students sitting outside dorms that looked more like section 8. This is inexcusable. The lightling and security should be drastically increased. And why is the landscaping so terrible? The school is so expensive and seems to have an adequate endowment. Very confusing and disappointing.
