Another great place to get Arcanes is the 1999 Steel Path bounties. Every few rounds of survival will spawn an Acolyte which has a chance to drop Arcanes. Not sure if you get more but it's an option

doing eidolons is still better arcanes have a 5% drop chance per thrax and you need 10~ arcanes per pack meaning you need 200 thrax kills per pack

Steel path, alchemy. every 2 alchemy rotation would almost guarantee an acolyte. Go solo and it's faster to charge the alchemy node

another way which is a bit more passive is with syndicates. you can get 100 vosfor from them at rank 5 for 30k standing. I have 3 constantly getting standing so I gmble a lot this way LMAO 🤣
