It's more of a partial reset for me. A majority of my FYP has been the same content I normally see minus no TT shop ads atm.

Mine is all big name people (for TikTok) but ones I haven’t seen for a long time. Still love them, like they’re a long lost friend. It’s like I started my TikTok journey from the beginning.

Every 6ish months my FYP goes through a soft reset and shows me people I'm not following/smaller creators that still align with my interests/values. That's what's happening for me.

mine is exactly the same without adds... my algorithm wasn't reset... there are creators that deleted tiktok that your used to seeing that can't reinstall
