Replying to @Rose This wig nearly drove me insane but it’s finally done! The process took probably somewhere between 60 and 80 hours in total. There was so much trial and error because I had never done most of this before. The drill curl was especially hard, since silver wolf’s hair has a curl that gets really tight at the end. I had a bunch of slip ups with the wig that definitely tested my problem solving skills but now I can safely say I learned soooo much with this one! For those of you asking if I’d ever take commissions for a wig like this, the answer is no, because it would simply cost you too much money due to how many hours this kind of thing would take. For much more simple wigs, the answer is maybe, since I’m still super inexperienced and testing new things all the time. Commissioning a wig is expensive and I would rather you go to a professional instead of some dimwit with a crimper and styrofoam head 😭 Material list: 2 bronya wigs from DokiDoki (I actually don’t recommend because they arrived slightly different colors…) Crimper, teasing hair brush, comb, scissors Tombow aqua glue Allene’s clear gel tacky glue Metal strapping (also called plumber’s tape?) PVC pipe cut down to ~2 inches Worbla Maybe 50-100 hot glue sticks Rit dyemore in blue and purple Got2b glued hairspray 3 sheets of felt from Michael’s My DM’s are open for advice to those of you who want help with any of their own wig projects! #w#wigstylingw#wigstylistw#wigcrimpingg#gluedwigc#cosplaywigc#cosplaywigstylings#silverwolfwigs#silverwolfs#silverwolfhsrh#honkaistarrailcosplaysilverwolfcosplay
