There are good and bad in unions. That being said union labor isn’t any better than non union labor it all depends on the person doing the work!!

I have hired in union welders that tig weld. I started them out at $40 an hour under the table. After the first week I told them to to hit the road because their quality wasn’t up to my basic standards. And they was lazy. I went through 7 welders!!

Well in a scenario if you’re working in the union long enough to have your hours to take your journeyman test and then the c-10 wouldn’t you just do the same as him own a company ? Is that not the 🥅

Unions get greedy, ask yellow, roadway , cf , while they get you more money, they can also put companies out of business for being overpaid

If they look at the package. Most packages are around $100 an hr so that means if we got it all in our check we’d make 4k a week. And remember we don’t have to pay liability insurances or overhead.

The difference I found is non union you have an opportunity to make a bunch of money at times. Not steady but sometimes big money. Union everyone makes the same, always. Done both prefer own destiny
