@kcalnews: The Los Angeles County community of Castaic is evacuating as the Hughes Fire continues to grow Wednesday, exploding to more than 5,000 acres in less than two hours. Authorities have continued to expand mandatory evacuation orders and road closures as the blaze, which began near Castaic Lake, is primed to continue spreading. "This time of year is especially dangerous," Fred Fielding, a spokesperson for the LA County Fire Department, told CBS News Los Angeles. "It's been almost 300 days since we've had any significant rainfall."
