my mom went through the same thing, and scar faded and is almost unnoticeable, don't be ashamed of it it's a sign of how strong you are 💗

Honestly same. My scar is still fresh from thyroid (cancer) surgery. How are you dealing with this because even though its not the end of the world I feel so insecure lol.

I don’t know your story but had one across my face & mom had thyroid tumor. Mederma and sunscreen. I had a tumor on my spine and the scar goes from mid spine to scalp.

i have a very similar scar from spinal surgery three years ago. i HATEDDD it at first & now i barely even remember it’s there. i promise it gets better 🖤

My mom had the same surgery and I swear I never notice her scar! It will fade and I can’t even tell it’s there. Just make sure you avoid exposing it to the sun and always always apply sunscreen

I had a scar on my nose from skin cancer and I used silicone tape for almost 6 months and then Mederma cream. It’s very light now and I can cover it with concealer! Good luck!

I had a thyroidectomy when I was 26… I keloid scar and mine is barely visible now. Silicone scar sheets and your derm can treat it if it’s uncomfortable!

Nah girl! I’ve been rocking mine for 11 years this May! It will heal up nicely but before it did, anytime I caught someone staring I’d just start telling them an insane story or how it happened. 🤣

My mom had thyroid surgery! Her scar healed really well and it was barely noticeable after a year or two. Either way it’s super sick and it tells a story. Good luck with your recovery!
