I’m a teacher, I’ve just spent my own money buying stationery for some of my students that won’t have any, I always have food in my classroom so no one goes hungry, they shouldn’t miss out it’s heart breaking

don't give direct to parents..some and I mean some spend there money pokies and rubbish... give to the schools so kids rock up firstly.. get the food and stationary srcondly.. even a uniform ....

as a kid that grew up with no shoes,had lunch about once a week when I started seeing kids getting lunches at school.or even some schools had free uniform was so heart warming, I'm not bitter towards

I was suspended on my first day of school. I wasn't accompanied to school by my single (Alcoholic) Mum. I was suspended because I was caught stealing food from the dairy on the way to school.

My household use to be those kids. Both my parents worked, so I at 7 had to raise my siblings. Never judge, cost of living is hard. There are so many kids dealing with adult problems 😭😭😭

that's whu I pack my kids lunch like carry iv always said if she sees kids with nothing to share she came home without her jacket she told me she gave it to the kids that never had shoes or jacket
