@mariangbaiwon: Every single step I’ve taken in this journey, I’ve taken without adequate resources. I never had the money, never had everything lined up perfectly, but I always had faith. I believed that all I needed was to give my dream my yes. Getting my first 10x10 studio on Woodale in 2018 wasn’t just a leap of faith, it was survival. I renovated it myself with very little and a whole lot of determination. When I turned my living room into a studio and self-produced my first talk show, I didn’t have the experience or the tools. But I showed up. When I signed my first lease for a tiny 300-square-foot studio in 2021 in Mall City, I didn’t have the money to justify it. But I believed in myself. That lease wasn’t just a room—it was accountability. It forced me to show up, to work harder, and to figure it out. And within three months, my business quadrupled. I’ve sacrificed everything for this dream. Endless nights of sleep. Food on my plate. My own comfort. I’ve taken risks that most would think were impossible. I’ve done it all while rebuilding my life after escaping an abusive relationship, where I was left with nothing. At one point, I stayed in a women’s shelter. I had no financial support. No safety net. Just faith, grit, and an unshakable belief that I could make it. And here I am. Today, I stand in my biggest studio yet—Geaux Create Studios. It’s proof that no matter how far you feel from your dreams, they are possible. Every sacrifice, every hardship, every time I pushed myself when I had nothing—it was worth it.
