Higher minimum wages don't always help, Here in Ontario Canada we have seen minimum wages go up over the last 10 to 15 years, but now a Big Mac Combo, which used to cost 4.99 in the 90s, is now $20

100% agree. hourly workers have been profoundly gaslit for decades over wages. It has robbed not just the worker of funds but the dignity of the labor they provide. Most positions should be at $25+
