Panic at the dollar tree :
I’m home duty stationed. If they change my duty station to an office they’ll have to pay me a ton of money for relocation and then a much higher locality pay once I move to DC.

if the bargaining unit employees have a union contract for remote work until 2029, can the employees still be forced back into the office?

My husband was hired as a remote employee. His "office" is in California, but it doesn't actually exist. We don't even live in California.

Can you address how CBA’s impact this. For example my agency has a CBA but they informed the union today they are revising the article guaranteeing telework levels. Can they do that unilaterally?

My question is as soon as Trump was elected the rumors of this happening started. Why did they wait until last minute to start this? They could have at least got the ball rolling back in Nov.

Is it legal for them to change official duty stations to another state and then remove employees who don’t move to the new duty station?

The email I received from my agency specifically stated all telework and remote work has been rescinded. We have 30 days to fully comply.
I'm sure we'll have meetings next week to discuss further.

Why is tele work even being discussed when the EO was only about remote work?

How does this RTW order impact contractual federal worker? If it doesn't, do you think it will at some point be applied to government contractors.

Every single one of the federal agencies appears to simply be falling in line and following the orders without question.

Would this include law enforcement? My husband is in federal law enforcement and there are some references to them as “mobile workforce”
