Depends who your flying with I flew with emirates to Dubai and my PP had a small water mark where the stamps was and they told me I have to replace it and I’m lucky to get on so I’d just replace it

Mine was damaged, staff made a big deal at Birmingham airport saying I wouldn’t get through the boarder got to Phuket and they didn’t bat an eyelid

The biometric chip has torn in mine and still fly in it as I don’t want to renew it early. you can walk through with that no problem

Left mine in my jeans by mistake and mine got washed in the washing machine. After that the biometrics never worked. So had to go through the long passport queues rather than straight thru the gates
