in hand to hand using the bigger guys momentum to throw him off balance is useful, the bigger they are the harder they fall. you just have to evade the punches and hope he doesn't grapple

Absolutely. I taught my friends some basic self-defense skills, and the best advice for fighting someone as large as me is to run. We're rarely fast, but once we have a good grip it's over.

Hand to hand, yes it definitely matters. With weapons, it’s more even, with a bigger guy being stronger, but less agile. Best thing is to be a mix (big, but not too big that it slows you down a ton)
