How brave to talk about it. My grandmother couldn’t. Traumatized her whole life. Fear of hunger that stuck by her like the too many loaves of bread she always kept nearby.

I met a lady in a nursing home years ago who was at the camps her stories broke me 😭 as do every single story I hear .
