because you then have to time it and the cam opens the exhaust or intake valve

If u using the stock cam it’s gonna do that

There is compression without the cam because the valve are staying closed all the time. And when you out the cam in you need to adjust your valve lash that's why you have no compression after

You’ve got your valve lash set way too tight on your rockers

Valves too tight, timing is off, those motors may have a compression release

There is a compression realese on the cam it’s normal

compression release on cam for startup, make sure it's timed right, compression release should click off when running.

You probably fixed it but you probably have the spark plug in and compressing it while all valves are closed also

This compression without the cam because the valves are closed and when you put in the cam either the valve release is very good or your timing is off

adjust your rocker arms, that should fix it

When you don’t have the cam in there both the intake and the exhaust valves are closed and whenever you put the cam in, it’s holding one of the other opened and if it’s not time right, it will cause

valves are being held open. make sure dots on cam and crank are lined up. set valve lash to 0.003 intake 0.004 exhaust unless aftermarket cam states otherwise.

What are these people talking about😭 if there’s no cam that means there can’t be “wrong timing”. The valves are held closed with the valve spring and retainer.(hope this helps)👍
