can? as a Canadian (southern ontario) I dont think I have ever seen maple syrup in a can. I buy the good stuff from the Amish in my area and thats in a glass jug.

Oh, I didn’t refrigerate mine and it grew mold 🙈 so I do now. Found different instructons on many websites but I will keep it in the fridge for my own safety

Vermonter here. You absolutely have to refrigerate maple syrup. The corn syrup can sit in your pantry…it won’t die ever. Real maple syrup needs to be preserved in your fridge and at $1000/oz it’s
