I prep my nails really well, wipe with acetone and add a drop of glue to my nail and another on the press on and they stay 2 weeks+

don't scuff the glue. scuff your nail. idk why she's saying to do that. if anything, that weakens the bond

Thicker glue, and don’t press them down so hard, gentle pressure in the middle of the nail bed, hold for 90 seconds.

Careful! Fungus can grow under your fingernail bed if you leave fake nails on beyond 2 weeks.

I’m currently entering day 9 also using her hack. I reapplied the glue on my nails after buffing and applied glue on the press on nail.

I started doing my own nails in March 2020 during Covid. Have not gone back to the salon and I never will. You need to dehydrate your nails more and they’ll stay on longer.

additional step that cemented my press on: after the acetone, put a little bit of glue on the back of the nail. glue on your nail then lightly press the nail on.
