@abistumvoll1: Earlier this year, I was talking with someone about how many church leaders push the idea that if you don’t agree with the majority, you’re at risk of being deceived. It got me thinking about how often this makes people shut down their own intuition, concerns, and discernment. It creates this pattern of judging or villainizing people who don’t attend a church. And yet, I’ve seen people be as open to weird ideas/theology inside of the church as I have seen them be outside of the church. This week, we’re having a really important conversation about why faith and emotional health need to go hand in hand, and how things can get messy when emotional health gets left out of the picture.
