This happened to me at a restaurant. I tipped cash so I left the tip line blank. The server added $100 tip on my card. Learned my lesson! Needless to say, I don’t leave that line blank anymore if I tip with cash

that's why when I tip on my card, I write out the total [tip included] on both copies so that if there is a discrepancy I have proof of what it was supposed to be. hope she gets it fixed for her.

Yeah, few years back a bartender changed my $5 tip to $10. Our tab was $10. Hubby and I were friends with the manager. Turns out she was doing this to a ton of people. She got fired.
