I’m not a financial advisor by any means but even if you saved up and bought a house in all cash I feel like that takes all your liquid. I say get a credit card and be disciplined to build your credit

As an underwriter, you want a good credit score. It’s not going to hurt you to have a 700+ score.

Worst thing I did was get my son a debit card, then he got a credit card. I bailed him out twice. I said no more. He still carries a balance on credit cards😡

go get a credit card be SMART use it just for gas for the month when you get gas take that total out of your bank in cash or transfer it to a fairly hidden account at the end of the month pay the card

My credit score is 817 no debt, best of both world! i do have a credit card that i treat it as a debit card, use it for everything during the month , and pay it FULL at the end of it.
