I think they should drop the base odds for shinies back to 1/8192 because of the amount of overworld interactions you can have in the newer games compared to basically every game before Legends Arceus

I've played almost all the games and only obtained the shiny charm in Arceus. for me, filling out the dex was a lot more manageable and not as daunting as past games. I love catching shinies in arceus

Tbh when shinys started spawning in the overworld and not when you encounter it shinys became way to easy to get when they made them shiny before encountering it thy should’ve raised the odds

Depends on the Gen. in the current Gen with the use of a sandwich, I was able to find 2 shinies in the span of 20 min. It’s pretty easy now. But if he’s talking about w/out sandwiches, then he’s wrong
